Inkspire has been designed in a way that it addresses mental health challenges, particularly among girls from disadvantaged or low-income communities in India; in a way that is sensitive and inclusive. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the language and support to understand their own emotions, Inkspire looks forward to encouraging this through creativity in the form of self-expression, story telling and community dialogue.
By combining accessible educational content with crowdfunding and opportunities for self-relection and guided counseling support, this humble project aims to help participants understand their inner worlds better while simultaneously cultivating feelings of self-worth and empathy. The initiative thus hopes to equip girls with not just the ability to cope, but thrive and take ownership of their stories in a way that is meaningful, confident and long-lasting.
