Neesah Sharma is a driven young student at Step By Step School Noida, where she is currently studying subjects like English, Spanish, Economics, Science and International Math. Having a curious interest in psychology; especially within the context of adolescent development; Neesah aspired to study the subject in greater detail and advocate for mental health within her community. This commitment is even reflected in many of her pursuits including a summer program offered by Georgetown University, to explore how brain processes influence human behavior. At school too, Neesah is a member of SEVA, a service-centric outreach society and currently has also previously served as her class’ elected representative. She is a trained pianist, currently also pursuing western vocals and guitar; and constantly seeking ways to express herself through music, writing and leadership. Inkspire was thus born out of her desire to combine her interests and experiences into making mental health support more accessible to young girls like herself, who may not have the means or space to be heard. Through her project, she hopes to grow a platform that promotes awareness alongside meaningful connection and compassion.
